I'll be presenting Content Modeling with CRC at this year's Rochester STC Spectrum Event on Friday, March 23.

 Content Modeling using CRC

I have the horrible Right-After-Lunch slot, but oh well. The session will be a working presentation on how to facilitate a CRC modeling event. I ran this exercise for Kodak's Consumer Digital Service & Support group this past summer with my colleage Bill Fiorica. The team generated over 100 class types and filled in all the properties of each and relationships to other classes.

The CRC method is based on Scott Ambler's books The Object Primer and Building Object Applications That Work. 

One of the advantages of going deep with a modelling exercise is that you can then determine what level of granularity you really want to implement in your project.
